Searching for some of the Country Bars Orlando? Do you want to dance or watch the dancers? That is a choice ya know? Sure it is. If you can walk, you can dance. Learn how now.

Private dance lessons are one hour in length. You can learn three dance steps in one private dance lesson. That is enough for a man to lead a woman in a very nice and basic dance. A woman would never complain, but be happy to be dancing.

One country western dance lesson is $50 when you mention this website. If you buy a package of lessons the per hour rates drop from $35 to $45 per one-hour dance lesson. Did you know that when dancing at a Country Western bar, there is a certain etiquette that is practiced that a beginner or new-comer dancer may not know. What’s that? It is not uncommon for two types of dances to be danced at the same time. This same concept happens at a ballroom dance, too.

At a country western bar the line dancers will take the middle of the dance floor for dancing alone doing their formation dances. All the dancers in the center of the floor will go one way at one time, turn do a few more steps and go a different way to start the entire pattern again.

Meanwhile on the outside or perimeter of the dance floor Country Western Two Step will be danced by couples. Their steps are not the same as each others, but each man who is leading will be lead the steps that he knows. This type of dance is called a “cross over dance.” This term means one song that can be danced to a few different styles of dance.

Line Dance
Country Western Two Step
East Coast Swing
West Coast Swing
Cha cha
All the dances are correct. No one is wrong to pick any of the above dance styles. The song is called a “cross over” dance because many different styles of dance can be danced to the same song. Thus the name “cross over dance.”

Good etiquette says that the Line Dancers should stay dancing in the center of the dance floor and the partner dancers are on the perimeter. If you are a single dancer and don’t know how to dance the Line dance or couple dance, but just want to do some free-style dancing, then the safest place for you to dance would be in the center of the dance floor. Keep a watchful eye of every one coming to invade your space – you are truly the minority.

You can learn to Line Dance at some of the country bars. Check their website to see calendars for lesson time and availability. Each song has its own set of steps and patterns. The same set of steps are repeated throughout the entire dance. The next song will have an entirely different set of steps.

I think partner dancing is much easier than learning line dances because when you learn a set of steps for a couple’s dance — like the east coast swing — then that same set of steps can be repeated for any song that has the swing beat. You can use you the same dance moves or set of steps for many more songs. Bottom line? You can dance more dances. Woooo HOOO! The one line dance only has one set of dance steps and pattern, and sometimes these vary from country bars in other areas of town.
